Brian Doe was born in Ogdensburg, New York, and grew up on the shores of the St. Lawrence River. From a young age, he recognized his passion for the written word and committed himself to the pursuit of writing. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in writing from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, and a Master’s Degree in secondary education from the State University of New York at Potsdam College. His first book, BARLEY AND GOLD, was published in July of 2001. He is co-author of the controversial new novel, WAKING GOD, and is currently working on a collection of poetry that will be published as an anthology later in 2007. He is also busy working on Book II of the WAKING GOD trilogy. When not writing, Mr. Doe spends much of his time as set and lighting director of the annual musical held in his town of residence. He is an English teacher in Upstate New York where he lives with his wife and children.
Philip Harris was born and raised in Massachusetts. He attended The American University in Washington, D.C. and received his degree in Political Science. His graduate work was done at the University of Northern Colorado and Howard University. While in D.C., he spent several years working for local and regional government agencies. Upon moving to Maine he worked with three governors and served as the Assistant Director of the Maine State Planning Office. He worked on a White House Task Force for the development of a National Rural Policy and later served as Rural Policy Coordinator at the Federal Regional Council of New England. He has worked on gubernatorial and senatorial political campaigns and currently works in Special Education. Mr. Harris is co-author of the controversial novel WAKING GOD and is a nationally syndicated and often featured writer for "The American Chronicle." Being knowledgeable in the areas of secret societies, occult and religious studies he has been a student of mystical studies and a member of several “fraternal” organizations for over twenty five years. He is co-author of the controversial novel WAKING GOD, coined a “spiritual thriller,” which was released 6’06. His second novel, A MAINE CHRISTMAS CAROL was released by Cambridge Books in 2’07. His third book (non-fiction), JESUS TAUGHT IT, TOO: THE EALY ROOTS OF THE LAW OF ATTRACTION was released by Avatar Publication 8’07. His fourth book, RAPING LOUISIANA: A DIARY OF DECEIT was released by Cambridge Books, 9/07. His fifth and sixth books, MESSAGES: AN ERA OF TRANSFORMATION will soon be released from Avatar Publication. He and his wife currently reside in Maine. He has three children who all live in New England. Mr. Harris is also knowledgeable in the areas of secret societies, occult, and religious studies, and has been a student of mystical studies for over twenty-five years. He is a member of several literary groups including the Author’s Coalition and the Author’s Den and maintains his own blog on “All Things That Matter.” Mr. Harris recently interviewed Dr. John Dimartinti, who plays a key role in the film, THE SECRET. Mr. Harris is a contributing writer toUPI's “Religion and Spirituality" website and is listed as an “Expert Author” and writer for “Ezine Articles.com” where he is a featured writer.
