"Waking God was a very thought-provoking novel, making me think that perhaps all we have been taught might not be exactly how it is...This book challenges your beliefs and makes you think long after putting the book down. I am guessing that the second and third book will be as riveting as the first book - and of course I'm very interested in finding out what happens to Andrew and Mara. Good job Brian and Philip, I'm anxiously awaiting the next one!"

"I couldn’t put this book down, and then when I neared the end, I started to stretch it out, to 'milk' it so it wouldn’t end! I had to keep telling myself that there would be a sequel that would continue providing this profound stimulation I was receiving, but it wouldn’t be soon enough!
"The story line was good. It really held me as it was exciting, suspenseful, quirky and engaging. The characters came alive page by page, and began showing themselves to me…I stayed awake late into the night reading, and happily, couldn’t project where it was going. Always a surprise around each 'corner.'
"What I love is to be challenged, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, and this book did all three. Brian and Phil researched historical and sacred sites, religious sects, and beliefs and how they are intertwined...This set a plausible foundation for the fantastic challenge of what I read that shocked my beliefs to the core. I loved it. I had to ponder, contemplate and go deeper within myself and I still am.
"For me this book is more than a suspenseful novel with a peppering of historical facts. In its engaging way, it challenged me intensely. I am forced to look deeper within and question what I take for granted as Truth. This is a great gift. Thank you Phil and Brian."

"I just finished Waking God last evening. Made for interesting dreams! I love the concept of humans as gods and have believed in a universal deity for some time. Thanks for a thought-provoking book."

"Oh my God - it was really really good! So much to sink into or to sink in...either way...I am not not loaning it out, but telling folks to go out and buy it! Natch, I have a lot of questions...like, ahhh, what's up with 'dem angels...Really though, not that I've read the book, I will go back and read the book..."

"I picked up Waking God by Brian Doe and Phillip Harris as some light reading. Was I ever amazed by the insight and depth of these two authors. I found that once I started reading I was unable to put the book down as it kept calling at me to finish and know what I didn't know. It was difficult to stay with the plot of the story as the truth kept slapping me in the face and demanding that I acknowledge it. So much of it brought out the memories that I had kept repressed; a past knowledge that had been kept buried deep within me. I intend to reread this book as I believe I may have missed some of the authors' finer, more subtle details. And I am anxiously awaiting the next book of this trilogy. Although this is an excellent book for those who like science fiction and some who will only see it as that, it is my belief that it will touch the multitudes on a much deeper level. This is what the world has been waiting for to wake them from their slumber and know what is truth."
